Madhushala by Harivanshrai Bachhan (Book review 12/10)

Madhushala by Harivanshrai Bachhan

A superb poem by the poet in fact the first one of the poet, a very beautiful and meaning full work by Shree Harivanshrai Bachan. This poem is a real treat to heart and mind and I really enjoyed this poem. The poet serves the intoxicating verse after verse to the true delight of the readers like the Saki serving the exotic wine to the drinkers. Truly worth reading to see the eternal connection between and God and wine and spirituality and how a wine glass connects the space and the eternity, truly eternity for the lovers of deep meanings.

The oath of the Vayuputras by Amish (Book review 11/10)

The oath of the Vayuputras by Amish

The third book of the Shiva Trilogy by Amish and the bulkiest of all was fun to read but it was not as exciting as the earlier two parts. I think this was to encompass all the myths or realities (let Shiva be the judge himself) circumventing the story of Shiva. So Mr. Amish who stayed free of anything had to give in the last part wherein he can’t give the happy ending. Of course the end is apt enough but still the urge to ratify some of the truths scientifically and the pure imagination are spiced by the realities which are I think dear to all. So I admit it was not all that fun to read this part as we can see the end coming in. But this being the last part was a compulsion to the eager mind and I had to read it to quench the thirst of curiosity. Various parts are sewed together nicely and still it is fun reading them I liked the flow of the text though the scenes changed every now and then and it’s difficult to maintain the flow when we have to piece a huge tale together. I recommend fully this book to all the Shiva lovers as it brings in the conclusions.

Who will cry when you die? By Robin Sharma (Book review 10/10)

Who will cry when you die? By Robin Sharma

This is a very interesting book with a list of 101 things to do to convert our melancholic life into an interesting one; one which is useful and fulfilling in every way.

I liked some of the tips and they were amazing if cultivated in our life so I recommend that everyone should read this book. This book has the power to change our life if we can follow it even 50%. There are many self-help books available but this one stands out as it addresses what we are thinking today.

I especially liked the idea of thinking which people you’d like to b e in your neighborhood so much and also we can think why we want that particular person in our neighborhood so we can pin point what we wish from our life by wishing someone to be our neighbor e.g. say I want Big B Amitabh Bachhan to be my neighbor so that I can grab on some points of his personality thus rightly said we become like the person whose company we keep so mind the company you keep.

So again I say a must read book to drastically improve our lives.
